Dr. Skewis earned her Ph.D. in health and human services from Columbia Pacific University. She holds a Master's Degree in psychology from Antioch University, and a Bachelor's Degree in English and creative writing from the University of Washington. In her doctoral research she developed an integrated six-level model for the treatment of depression.
